Bianca Michelle Rasmussen is a student journalist at the University of Oxford. She is originally from Copenhagen, Denmark. For her BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Bianca wrote an undergraduate thesis on the ethics of prostitution. Bianca has written for various publications and founded a college magazine in 2019. Bianca is also the author of a short story and several poems.
Before coming to university, Bianca was involved in several media productions, including a student-run news program, ‘OEG Samling’ at Ørestad Gymnasium, and ‘Ungdomsmagasinet 90’, which was aired on local TV station, TV2 Lorry. During high school, Bianca was an editor at the student paper ‘OEG Posten’ and contributing editor of the ERASMUS+ progamme ‘AVITAE Newspaper’.
In her spare time, Bianca enjoys painting and photography, as well as spending time with her friends and family.
Bianca has been published in The Oxford Student, The ASH, Kristeligt Dagblad, and Through a Glass Darkly, among others.
